Our Mission
To end the cycle of poverty for at-risk children and their parents.
The Rosalind R. Ludwig Children’s Foundation is privately funded by donations from Friends of Roz. It will act as an investment arm of Nxt Generation, a public charity that is being developed to provide programs to further the mission of the Foundation.
Current projects
The Rosalind R. Ludwig Children’s Foundation has…
- Provided a 15 passenger van for a grass roots organization called Hands2Help, as well as coach for the organization’s Director to help the organization grow in a way that meets the organization’s goals and aspirations.
- Supported three other organizations in Dade for at-risk girls
- Supported two organizations in Broward: STARS Academy, an organization that helps at-risk youth with educational and support need and exposes them to higher education via Broward College; and HANDY, another group for at-risk children that provides a clubhouse as a “safespace” atmosphere to support this population. The Foundation is currently looking for property to purchase to provide housing to children in the HANDY program.

Rosalind “Roz” Ludwig was a teacher, Red Cross volunteer, arts patron, philanthropist, and an inspiration for many.
Our Executive Director – MARTY E. DAVIS, Esq.
Mr. Davis has a tremendous commitment to community service and involvement.
